Paparazzi for Hire!
In this town, you no longer have to be a celebrity or a reality TV star to have cameras trailing you around and shouting at you to "look over here!" If you've always wanted to be like an Olsen twin, ducking from cameras and shielding your face with your giant Starbucks cup, now you can be.
According to Page Six Magazine, there are now "celebrity wannabe" companies that will unleash mock paparazzi, bodyguards and publicists to follow you around the city. Prices for such services range from $730 to $3,000. Apparently that's a small price to pay to get in to Graydon Carter's Waverly Inn and La Esquina! read more »
Kelly Cutrone Will Shell Out Dating Advice on The City
A preview of Whitney Port's new Hills spin-off reality show, The City, was shown on MTV last night. For the past few months Ms. Port has been working in the PR department at Diane von Furstenberg and has befriended socialite (and professional frenemy) Olivia Palermo.
Ms. Port is shown spending time with an attractive Australian guy who seems to be the East Coast version of Justin Bobby, both aesthetically and in his views of monogamy. Meanwhile Ms. Palermo seems quite friendly--she is shown at a balcony dinner party thrown in honor of Ms. Port's arrival in New York--but also kinda untrustworthy! (We caught her shooting Ms. Port a glare when she wasn't looking.)
But wait! Could that be... Kelly Cutrone? read more »

Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth Continue to Milk Their Reality-Based Fame at Nanette Lapore
Wednesday morning's Nanette Lepore show was rather lightly attended. Standing-area guests were moved into prime second and third row seating as the show was about to begin; the most notable guest we spotted was the silver-haired John Slattery from Mad Men. Alas, Mr. Slattery was not up for talking, but Entourage's Perrey Reeves, sitting a few seats away from him was more than willing. (Ms. Reeves seems to have been everywhere this Fashion Week.)
"I'm going to shows of the designers I know and love," said Ms. Reeves, who said she will also be attending the Marchesa presentation. "With the Emmys coming up, this is sort of like fantasy shopping for me. read more »
