Help from Una

Una Clarke Yvette Clarke's campaign has confirmed that Una Clarke has resigned from her position with the Empire State Development Corporation to assist in her daughter's campaign for congress.

The elder Clarke served as campaign treasurer for her daughter's 2004 primary challenge against Major Owens. However, in this election cycle, that role is filled by Ray Trotman, who served as treasurer to Una in her 2000 congressional bid.

Una's got zesy. But the only money she can raise will come from people who do business with ESDC --essentially it's Gargano and Pataki supporting Clarke. Ugh!

Una helps more than hurts. She is still very energetic. She will get many votes for Yvette.

Una is my friend and gave me a lot of programs when I ran my community. Now I may have to rethink supporting Andrews.

The ESDC is one of the most poorly operated agencies in New York.

Yvette's opponents must be ecstatic.
