John Faso, J'Accuse!
DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN TO PREVIEW CASE AGAINST FASO WEDNESDAYDemocratic Chair Herman "Denny" Farrell, Jr. will offer the Party's outlook and assess the candidacy of longtime colleague John Faso
I, for one, can't wait to see what damning exhibits Farrell plans to unveil.
But the last line of the release is a little strange: "Meanwhile the Democrats emerged from their convention unified behind Eliot Spitzer as its candidate, who won the delegates' vote by acclamation."Isn't it the Republicans who are down to one candidate now?
Or was that a different red-haired man holding Faso's hand at a press conference earlier today?

DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN TO PREVIEW CASE AGAINST FASO WEDNESDAY
Democratic Chair Herman "Denny" Farrell, Jr. will offer the Party's outlook and assess the candidacy of longtime colleague John Faso
NY GOP in total disarray as party now stuck with Faso - same man its Party Chair said can't win and is "in la-la land"
New York State Democratic Chairman Herman "Denny" Farrell, Jr. will preview the case against GOP gubernatorial candidate John Faso at an on-the-record press availability on Wednesday, June 7, at 11:00 am in Albany. Farrell will offer the Party's outlook post-convention and assess the candidacy of his longtime colleague Faso, who is now the GOP candidate for governor even though prominent leaders of his party call him too extreme for New York, and from "la-la land."
In addition to the Republican Party leader saying Faso was "in la-la land" (11/21/05, NY1), several county party leaders accused him of being anti-woman and too extreme in recent weeks. In a letter sent to other GOP county chairs last month, Orange County GOP Chairman Bill DeProspo called Faso "out of step," "extreme," and "embarrassing."
Meanwhile the Democrats emerged from their convention unified behind Eliot Spitzer as its candidate, who won the delegates' vote by acclamation.
DATE: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7
TIME: 11:00 AM

ac
Hey,
While we are cleaning house, isn't time someone knocked Denny Farrell out?
He hasn't done bubkus as State Chair.
good call, TiredDem. it's been a TERRIBLE year for democrats! LOL.
Hey 4:16 name 3 big political victories for Denny Farrell over the last two decades. You cannot point to:
Mayor Mark Green in 2001
Re-Election of David Dinkins
What Farrell has won't be as good as what Elliot has in store for him.
It's so exciting to be a Democrat with Faso the right-wing extremist running for Governor against Elliot!!!!
I still can't contain my excitement!!!!!
Yes, all the Democrats have to do is point out that this guy is against the right to choose and against stem cell research. That might work in South Dakota, it will not work in New York. The Republicans are stuck with the one candidate who will ensure that the campaign will not be about taxes, schools et. al. but only about hot button issues -- ones that will work for the Democrats for a change.
