Bloomberg 2012?
In an interview set to air today on CNN, Mayor Bloomberg is asked point blank by Wolf Blitzer if he is running for President, to which the Mayor responds that he is staying in his job until 2009. To wit, there are also elections scheduled in 2012, and all of a sudden Bloomberg's Presidential ambitions seem to have found a little wiggle room.

how old would bloomy be by 2012?
He will be 70 in 2012...the same age as Reagan was in 1980. Wolf should have asked if he will be a Democrat or a Republican in 2012. If the red states are suspicious of Rudy's so-called liberalism, they won't like Mike either.
Purple!
Bloomberg would have same problem Rudy will...maybe could win general but winning the nomination (of either party) would be really tough.
I think Bloomberg would be an excellent choice for president and just what America needs to get us back on track. If he runs, he's as good as elected.
I second that!
America could use someone as intelligent and dedicated as Bloomberg. Bloomberg for President!
Bloomberg's first campaign slogan:
a chicken in every pot and a stadium in every back yard!
He is the best mayor ever... President Bloomberg would be great to have . It better then bush or clinton or any of them
Mike doesn't have all the baggage Rudy has--he never married his cousin or appeared on SNL in drag. He does, however, not have the conservative credentials that the Republicans in Iowa and New Hampshire look for in a candidate, any more than Rudy does.
Rudy is expecting 18,000 people to turnout for his trip to Iowa. Perhaps being a rock star will carry him in the gop primary.
Here is one reason (of many) why Rudy will never be president:

Bloomie would be too aged to run for President. Bloomie quitwhile your ahead
Bloomie would be too aged to run for President. Bloomie quitwhile your ahead
so long as sheeky is at cityhall he will push his own personal agenda, to get bloomberg elected as POTUS.
and from the looks of it, hes in it for the long haul.
