Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! CNN Slugs Michael Moore
The sparring between Michael Moore and CNN is starting to sound like a playground fight.
On Saturday, Mr. Moore published an "open letter" to CNN on his web site, introducing complaints about his treatment at the hands of interviewer Wolf Blitzer with some crazy-talk:
"I bet you thought I was just going to go quietly away. Think again. I'm about to become your worst nightmare. 'Cause I ain't ever going away."
Well, now, CNN has used its own Web site to respond, releasing a statement on its news site and using it to introduce a point-by-point rebuttal of Mr. Moore's letter.
"It's ironic that someone who has made a career out of holding powerful interests accountable is so sensitive to having his own work held up to the light by impartial journalists, as we did in our examination of 'SiCKO,' " the statement from CNN begins.

why is everyone taking and wasting all of this energy on "what exactly" Michael Moore said. What he i strying to do is open the eyes of American people. Maybe he is using it to make a buck, but so aren't the people he is exposing. Is he really hurting anyone like the insurance companies are killing people to make a buck. Whther or not you believe Michael Moore we all know there is AT LEAST a grain of truth to what he says and instead of coming together as a combined union and targeting these problems with the unified strength as American people, the people responsible for allowing this to happen to us. We sit idly by complaing, while all the time allowing these attrocities to keep going on. when are we ever as responsible American citizens who contribute our hard earned money, which is what this all boils down to ever in this country. What happened to the American way? Was there ever one or was that a dream conjured up to keep us killing ourselves to keep the poor getting more poor and the rich getting more rich. Where will it end? Sure it's great to expose something that is already out there to know if you take the time to find out. Is it enough to take the wool of your eyes, because it is still going to continue until everyone togehter does something about it. One way is not to let them get your money, what would Ameria do if weall just stopped working 10-12 hours a day? Where would we end up? What would ahppen to the government and corporate America if we just stopped buying and became completely self-sufficent/ It has been done, about 200 years ago. It may not be the entire answer, but it is an idea how to stop this madness, this disgusting way of life. Why do we have the ideals that we do,that keep us going in circles, just to have the rug pulled out from under us in the end. Why is majority of American working citizens in debt? What is wrong with everyone today? I don't know why you have to spend your time debating amongst each other instead if you all have the same ideas then take your time, money, power whatever it is you have to offer and we can take our country to a new day, where the american people really do matter, where we really do have a voice and the power to control the actions of our government. Again we do pay their salaries we just shouldn't have to settle for what is lesser evil,be bamboolzed into believing lies, or is eveyone satiafied with our country and what it has turned out to stand for, because freedom sure isn't free for anyone, except the homeless, but ho thinks about them unless they are put on your television and your forced to think about them for a few fleeting minutes. ask yourself what can I do for MY country?
